Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection patch available now on Xbox Live

So long, bad netcode.

A patch for Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection (MKAK) is now available on Xbox Live. The patch was released on PSN in Europe, but a North American version has not surfaced.

MKAK has been criticized for having a netcode that has been described as unplayable when gamers take the fight to Xbox Live or PSN. A video from Delriach exposed these issues.

The patch was originally scheduled for release by Thanksgiving day, but it was delayed due to the timing of testing and approval.

No word on when PSN will receive a patch in North America.

MKAK was released on Aug. 31, 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3 through both console's online services. The fate of the PC version is still up in the air. Ed Boon has stated that the version was never meant to be, but NetherRealm says it's still a go.
