Defend the earth or attack it.
The free Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) DLC mode, Heroes and Heralds, is available now on Xbox Live and PSN. In this mode you get to either defend the earth by choosing heroes or attack it by siding with the heralds.
The twist with this mode is your ability cards. This will give your team some attributes they wouldn't normally have such as air dashing with Hulk, or parrying Chun-Li's hyper.
In addition to Heroes and Heralds, Capcom has also patched UMvC3. The goal of this patch was to remove numerous bugs reported in the game.
Perhaps the most surprising thing to come out of the patch was that the assists of Phoenix Wright have been nerfed. His assists in Turnabout mode are no longer invincible and can be easily punished.
This can be an early Christmas gift to some players and a lump of coal to others. Now that his assists have been nerfed, you may have difficulty finding Wright players online.
