SNK Playmore has announced (via Famitsu and translated by iPlayWinner) an arcade update for KoF XIII dubbed "Climax." A release date has yet to be revealed.
Location tests are set for Club Sega Akihabara and Sega Namba Avion in Japan.
The arcade update will keep the version up to speed with consoles. This includes extra characters and balance changes.
KoF XIII was released on July 14, 2010 in Japan for arcades. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions hit North America on Nov. 22, 2011.
