Good news keyboard warriors.
A target date for the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition v.2012 (AE v.2012) has been revealed. Capcom says they are shooting for Feb. 28 to release the update for PCs.
Fans with an Xbox 360 or PS3 have been able to download the free patch since late 2011. Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono says PC gamers will get their chance soon:
"I’ve got some good news to share with everyone! As of today, development on the PC version of the 2012 update has been almost completed. All that’s left are a couple of final tweaks, which we should knock out in the next couple of days. As a result, we are currently on the verge of being able to submit it to Microsoft, which is basically the last step in the development process. Our current target date is 2/28/2012. So everyone, please cross your fingers and wish us good luck! If everything goes smoothly in submission, you should be seeing this update go live soon."
