It's not what you may think it is.
A patch went live today on Xbox Live and PSN for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3). The last patch for the game was made available in Dec. 2011. That patch included the new Heroes and Heralds mode as well as some nerfs and buffs to certain characters.
So what does this new patch mean for your favorite characters? Nothing.
UMvC3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma took to Twitter to explain:
"Due to the large variety of inquiries, the latest patch does not touch the internal program data. No changes were made to overall character balance."
