Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: DLC fix coming March 27 for PS Vita

Time to plug up the holes.

Since the release of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) on the PS Vita, gamers haven't been able to access DLC that they had previously purchased on PSN. These include characters: Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath.

One feature promoted for UMvC3 was the ability to swap DLC purchased for the PS3 version of the game over to the PS Vita version. Currently, you can only swap skins.

On March 27, that changes according to Capcom:

"Hey everyone! Recently we had some Unity members reporting that owners of the orignal Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (PS3) Special Edition were having some issues sharing the Jill and Shuma Gorath DLC characters to the PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. At the game's launch, some users weren't given the option to 'redownload' Jill and Shuma to their PS-Vita without having to pay for the content again, even after their PS3/PS-Vita accounts were properly linked up.

I'm happy to announce that during the weekly PSN update on March 27th the issue will be resolved for everyone who purchased the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (PS3) Special Edition. If you've previously redeemed the MVC3 Special Edition voucher, when the update goes live on 3/27, the individual Jill/Shuma packs should show up as "Redownload this item" as opposed to "Purchase for $4.99" on the UMVC3 Vita DLC storefront. Go ahead and re-download them and they should show up normally in game."
