The revolution has begun.
Last week, the official trailer to WWE '13 was leaked, much to the chagrin of THQ. The game was officially revealed on Monday Night Raw, which would explain why THQ didn't want to keep the cat out of the bag.
Nov. 1 was the date advertised when the trailer leaked, but that's not the North American date. The game will land in the United States on Oct. 30. It'll be released for Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo Wii.
And that's not all the news THQ has provided to IGN.
Eight superstars have been confirmed for WWE '13. They are; Big Show, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Mankind, Mark Henry, Sheamus, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Undertaker (Attitude Era style). Obviously the roster will expand and more wrestlers will be revealed over time.
THQ and Yuke's have ditched Road to Wrestlemania in favor of Attitude Era Mode. Not much is known about the mode other than it will be a "recreation" of the Attitude Era. Video packages will attempt to give gamers a better understanding of past stories for those who didn't know or want to go more in-depth.
Despite an Attitude Era theme, CM Punk graces the cover of WWE '13. An Attitude Era logo is also present on the cover art.
