AM2 took to Twitter (via Andriasang) to reveal some exciting news. Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown has exceeded sales expectations in Japan after just one week of release. North American sales were not available.
This has to be a huge confidence boost for Sega and AM2. The duo seems to have brought some life back into the Virtua Fighter series.
