[UPDATE] Tensions flare between Skullgirls team and Evo 2012 "thief," fightstick returned

We may have a thief among us.

Evo 2012 went down last month. With the success of the event, one would think everything went without a hitch. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

Peter Bartholow of Reverge Labs took to the official Skullgirls Facebook page to accuse UNLV student Emerson Ryan Litchfield of stealing a custom Peacock fightstick at the tournament event. Litchfield lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Here's the statement from Bartholow.

"In other news...

After wasting a lot of my time and patience, I'm sad to report that UNLV student Emerson Ryan Litchfield of Las Vegas, NV has declined to return the custom Peacock fightstick that was stolen from us at Evo 2012.

We gave him numerous opportunities to return it, and he swore on his "honor as a man" that he would. He failed to deliver on all accounts, and deleted his Facebook account after his most recent failure. As he is a liar and a thief, I would strongly recommend not making Emerson Ryan Litchfield welcome at your events."

Fernando's POV: If this is true then expect some charges to be slapped on Litchfield. If this guy is still a student at UNLV, he better make sure to address this fast or his tenure as a student make be cut short before he can say 'sorry.'

UPDATE: The official Skullgirls Facebook page has revealed the fightstick has returned. Here is the quote. "...And like that, the stolen Peacock stick has been delivered into trustworthy hands."
