Without the My Little Pony brand, development on Fighting is Magic seemed dead in the water. Thanks to a former producer from the popular animated series, development of the game is back on, it just won't have the My Little Pony name.

Mane6 certainly does after getting much needed assistance. Following a cease and desist letter from Hasbro, Mane6 halted development of My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic. With the help of a former My Little Pony producer, the game is back on.
Mane6 announced teaming with Lauren Faust for original characters. Faust was heavily involved in the first season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Her role diminished after the second season and she moved on to other projects.
