[UPDATED] PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 moves to Steamworks
The transition from Games For Windows Live to Steamworks has begun. Get the lowdown on today's change inside.
UPDATED: We've updated to include the leaderboard fix and achievements carrying over to Steamworks.
Change is now.
If you have the Steam version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 (AE 2012), an update should be automatically updated for you. This will enable the switch from Games For Windows Live (GFWL) to Steamworks.
When you first boot up with the update, you will be asked if you wish to transfer your game save data from GFWL. Any DLC previously purchased will transfer over as long as the purchases were made through Steam.
Achievements have been moved over to Steam, but they will not appear immediately. Leaderboards will retain your battle points but you need to compete in a ranked match in order for it to show. Any inputs that you may have changed from the GFWL version have been reset in the Steamworks transition.
The "unable to retrieve leaderboard data" message has been fixed and leaderboards are working correctly.
